We have revised MOJO magazine and how to answer questions on representation and on media language. 

PREP Pick one recent MOJO cover from the MOJO website 

Copy the cover to your blog. Write an analysis in two paragraphs: media language and representation.

MAGAZINE LAYOUT

You will make an original magazine cover using your own photograph, which you must take. Consider the genre of magazine before setting up the shot. You will work from a template that I will email you.

Today we are learning about the 'language' of print magazines, the terminology to describe them and their layout.

In your email from me, you will find an interactive magazine template to use which looks like this:.

In your own original magazine FRONT COVER: 

You need an original masthead (title)

You need a strapline (see below).

At least 3 cover lines on the front cover 

as well as cover price, bar code, edition number.
