01 TELEVISION: THE AVENGERS

Today we revise social, historical and cultural contexts in 1960s television.

The 'historical' television drama programme is The Avengers Series 4, Episode 1 "The Town of No Return" (open the link).
We are introduced to the world of The Avengers in the documentary programme (open link on left) which sets it in context.
