01 TV & PROMOTING MEDIA

This week has thrown up some interesting articles about the BBC's funding models and its failure to attract young audiences - you - the 16-34 year old demographic. By contrast, online subscription services such as Netflix are both spending and earning more, successfully recruiting younger and older subscribers. What will happen to the BBC's licence fee model if fewer people sign up and revenues + audiences shrink?
